Since 1978, Hosparus Health has provided hospice and advanced illness care to tens of thousands of patients and their families in Kentucky and Southern Indiana. Started by volunteers, we’re a fully accredited not-for-profit with care teams nationally recognized and respected for their innovation and expertise addressing the most complex health issues. In addition to hospice and advanced illness care, we also offer grief counseling, respite care, and medication management.

Hosparus Health cares for patients of all ages and backgrounds - regardless of race, religion, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, handicap or ability to pay. Care is delivered through a team-oriented approach and is tailored to each patient’s needs and wishes. Our support extends to the patient’s family, caregivers and other loved ones. Interpretation and Translation Services - Hosparus Health provides interpreters to communicate with patients who have significant hearing loss or who cannot speak, read, write or understand the English language at a level that permits them to interact effectively with our staff members. Hosparus Health also will provide all vital documents in the requested primary language. These services are provided free of charge.
