The Snow Approach Foundation, Inc.’s mission is to provide educational and engagement opportunities that use the Snow Approach techniques to build and support a neurodiverse, inclusive community that adapts to changing brains.
Description
Teepa Snow, a world renowned dementia master educator and trainer will begin to "retire" by dividing her time between her company, Positive Approach to Care(r) (PAC), and this new non-profit titled Snow Approach Foundation, Inc. Together, we will volunteer time and space for trainings, consultations, and engagement events in the local community. She wants to use her fame, intellectual property, and training skill, and her team to create a legacy program that will continue to benefit the people of Hillsborough, North Carolina, and the global community facing the challenges of neurodegeneration. Volunteers will receive training to learn the Snow Approach, engage directly with community members, work on videos or social media, clean or support facility needs, or something else!
