Mission Statement
Our mission is to make college admission and success possible for students from low-income backgrounds through intensive curriculum of coaching and support. Since our founding in 2012, we have empowered more than 2,400 students from under-represented communities to get into and through college.
Description
College Possible students receive at least six years of near-peer coaching support to recognize and overcome the most common barriers to getting into and through college.
The High School Access program focuses on community building, college exploration and goal setting, test preparation, college applications, financial aid consulting and college enrollment.
The College Success program helps students in college academics, financing for college, building campus connections, transferring or re-enrolling and preparing for their careers.
On average, bachelor’s degree holders earn $25,000 more annually compared to those with a high school diploma. A college degree remains the surest path out of poverty and the best bet for social and economic advancement. More college graduates translate into better individual lives, more vibrant communities and a stronger state.
