I love cats and dogs and i want to try and help them as much as possible.

I misread the email and showed up at the wrong time. Make sure you be there on time for orientation or you will miss important information! The staff there were nice and still let me be apart of it. When you walk in the shelter definitely watch your step because there is most likely a cat in your way. Most of the time volunteers play with the animals but you may need to talk to people wanting to adopt or help clean-up. My experience was fun and I plan on on going back there. Be there on time, listen to their instructions, and get to know the animals.

Who doesn't love to help out animals and make them feel loved and comfortable.

Very straightforward volunteer process: sign up for training (dog and/or cat), attend training, and volunteer during their open hours while wearing your volunteer t-shirt. For the most part, volunteering means petting the cats and walking the dogs.
