WELCOME TO KENYA,stay at our homestay and volunteer for better community. We are a small, transparent, charitable community based organization established and registered by the Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Development in 2010 with a mission to build a stronger community through encouraging volunteer service and helping vulnerable children and families to live a sustainable life. Alone we can do so little, together we can do much.Joining our volunteer program there is much we can do together, whilst support vulnerable children and families.Volunteers play a very important role at Umoja Foundation Group, initiating wonderful skills and energy to our organization making difference to many.At Umoja Foundation Group we understand the international volunteer program as a method of awareness and learning to breakdown typecast and prejudiced ideas. collaborating directly with the local project in a respectful way, working as a team, dialoguing and internalizing the ways of doing the local culture, the volunteer becomes an agent of Change upon their return. To do this,we look for committed people, willing to learn and open minded with critical vision and who want to collaborate from humility, empathy and with ease of adaptation to change. We are a project that is founded, maintained and advances all year round, with highly trained workers in the area who are observing some problem present in the society, decide to take action to change it.Consequently, the work of the volunteer in the field focuses on support and reinforcement tasks to those currently being developed. At our organization, we'll host at homestay where you will have an opportunity to volunteer and help the local community, visit multiple excursions and exchange cultures.we have good reputable in partnering with the local community to with development through teaching in schools, agriculture, sports, awareness, medicine, water and sanitation etc.
