Our mission is to improve the condition of animals in Western Maryland and surrounding regions through rescue and transport; accessible spay/neuter surgeries; building and operating a humane animal center; sheltering and adopting homeless animals.

Description

Since 2003, HART for Animals, Inc. has been rescuing and finding homes for animals in Western Maryland, West Virginia, and Western Pennsylvania. Our innovative model, with the support of generous donors, enables us to rescue and adopt animals that would otherwise be euthanized. Our volunteer program is essential in supporting our mission, as our volunteers provide a chance for our adoptable pets to gain exercise and socialization while they wait for their forever homes.
