Description

The aim of the nonprofit health clinic is to improve disparities of healthcare resources, for individuals in Norfolk, Suffolk County and surrounding areas, of underserved populations of low-income and social economic status. Provision of free healthcare services can ultimately reduce the risk of infectious disease transmission and reduce the annual incidence rates of health-related mortality and comorbidities in Massachusetts. The organization and members volunteers’ medical services providing onsite healthcare and virtual resources, for those with no health insurance, and those with insurance, in need of primary care to effectively allocate care according to the needs within the community and state. The organization provides workshop events, providing free healthy produce and promotion of healthy diets. The organization is partnered with the local communities providing free physical exercise programs, promoting positive lifestyle habits, to prevent and reduce negative health outcomes. The town of Randolph, Mass currently does not have a primary care clinic, servicing Medicaid, Medicare and those with no insurance or ineligible; Complete 1 HealthCare’s’ mission is to build healthier communities and increase equity of healthcare. Mentorship and preceptor opportunities would be available to students within the community, to increase and promote medical professional and educational stewardship.
