Description

Wise County Committee on Aging (WCCA) has a rich legacy spanning several decades, deeply rooted in the heart of Wise County. Since our inception in 1983, our unwavering mission has been to uplift, nourish, and connect our senior community. We pride ourselves on a history marked by dedicated service, continuous evolution, and countless successes.

Our goal has always been straightforward yet profoundly impactful: to ensure that every senior in our community is fed, feels valued, and remains connected. Over the years, our programs have expanded beyond just meal delivery to encompass holistic support initiatives that address the broader challenges of aging, including isolation and health concerns.

Among our crowning achievements is the delivery of tens of thousands of meals annually, touching lives and building bridges of care throughout Wise County. Beyond numbers, the real testament to our success lies in the stories of seniors who, thanks to our efforts, have found companionship, regained a sense of purpose, and enjoyed healthier lives.

As we continue to grow and serve an ever-increasing number of seniors, our need for dedicated volunteers has never been more critical. We are actively seeking compassionate individuals who can commit to at least three hours per week, either delivering meals to our cherished seniors or assisting in meal preparation. Join us in making a tangible difference, one meal and one smile at a time.
