Mission Statement
Our mission is to provide medical resources that will break the chain of generational poverty as it relates to an individual's overall health. Our vision to is to deliver comprehensive medical care that meets the needs of our at-risk population.
Description
The fast, friendly and free services that HHWC provides will meet the needs of our community by delivering non-emergent care in an outpatient setting. Clients seen at HHWC that need a higher level of care will be transferred to the nearest emergency department by private car or ambulance. The following is an essential list of services (but not limited to): medical assessments, nutritional coaching, emotional coaching, x-ray imaging, lab services, minor procedures
urine testing (drug, UTI, pregnancy), wound care, Covid-19 swabs, flu swabs and RSV swabs.
To receive our free services clients must be a resident of Kalamazoo County and meet one of the following: be houseless, live in transitional housing, uninsured, underinsured, receive state aid, or fall within 250% of the Federal poverty line (household of 4 to make less than $75,000 annually)
