The MIXED Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to Economic Development of minority, low-income, and underrepresented communities. Our projects aims to Educate, Encourage and Empower future entrepreneurs and business owners by providing access to financial literacy, scholarships, and essential community resources.

The project 'Breaking Barriers: Empowering Education, Community and Economic Development' is essential in our community for the following reasons:

• Promoting Economic Mobility: Access to financial literacy, education, and scholarships is crucial for promoting economic mobility and breaking the cycle of poverty.

• Enhancing Well-being: Access to essential hygiene services and products is fundamental for physical and mental well-being, preventing health issues and infections.

• Improving Employability and Opportunities: Providing access to haircuts and grooming positively influences employability, opening doors to better job opportunities.

• Community Resource Accessibility : Adequate access to clothing and essentials enhances an individual's health and opportunities for personal growth.

• Addressing Food Insecurity: Food items and vouchers help address food insecurity and support overall health, contributing to a healthier, more resilient community.
