Mission Statement

We believe games inspire, motivate, and help us grow. In this positive space, we seek to provide all people the challenge, art, and fun unique to the world of board games.

Description

Spielbound educates, engages, and creates community through board games. We are a thriving community center for people of all ages, featuring a library of over 3,500 donated board games. Funds received support: 1. Education - providing teachers games and lessons for their classrooms. 2. Stay Sharp - providing games for seniors to prevent dementia. 3. Spielmasons - game creation and play-testing group. 4. Everyone plays - teaching games regularly and hosting the #SpielboundChallenge 5. Library - the largest playable game library in the country!
We were founded in 2012, opened our doors in 2014, and 2016 we split off the Spielbound Board Game Cafe to handle for-profit business to keep our library space open and available.
Before the pandemic, we had over 300 volunteer events a year! We've come back, many lives have changes, and are in need of new volunteers to help us in our mission and new goals.
