The Humanitarian Peace Foundation (HPF) is a nonprofit organization based in the District of Columbia, established in 2020 and officially recognized by the U.S. Internal Revenue Service as a tax-exempt entity under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Our primary objective is to support and collaborate with local NGOs, CSOs, and grassroots organizations that actively implement women empowerment programs, recognizing the vital role women play in fostering peace.

HPF works closely with these organizations to strengthen their capacities, enabling them to provide the best possible support to women in their communities. Through our team of experts, we deliver relief, recovery, and development solutions to not only organizations but also individuals benefiting from these impactful programs, both within the United States and around the globe.

Our international staff, based in Washington, D.C., comprises dedicated professionals with expertise in human rights, humanitarian law, women and gender studies, sociology, and other relevant fields . Together, we strive to create a positive and lasting impact, fostering an environment where women can thrive, contribute to conflict resolution efforts, and play a significant role in building sustainable peace in societies worldwide.
