Packs of Love

Description

Packs of Love, is an organization in the process of becoming a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, that is focused on providing educational STEM kits and workshops and domestic necessities for underprivileged youth in the San Diego community. We have been running the organization for a year thus far and are looking for individuals who can assist in helping us all collectively grow to be the best we can be for the San Diego community. So far, Packs of Love, in partnership with UPLIFT San Diego, has taught over 20 kids at Skyline Hills Library in Downtown various lifestyle and STEM lessons on exercise and wellness, finance and budgeting, healthy relationships, and goal setting over a week-long cohort. Additionally, Packs of Love has created and distributed over 25 domestic necessity care kits to Downtown San Diego in partnership with Streets of Hope. In addition to partnerships with UPLIFT San Diego and Streets of Hope, we also are engaged with STEMnUS to help create STEM lesson plans.
