For Their Thoughts(r) Foundation (FTTF) exists to help bring hope and relief directly to families responsible for the care of their loved one with a degenerative brain disease causing dementia. The depression and mortality rate of caregivers is reported to be 63% higher compared to non-caregivers of the same age. The root of the issue is not the stress alone but the lack of relief, support and feeling of isolation . Therefore, FTTF has two complementary programs:

• Care For the Caregivers (CFTC) Relief Program provides care navigation assistance and one time financial aid, while

• reTHINK Dementia offers hands-on immersive education, webinars and advocacy opportunities such as MoveFTT to empower caregivers and their support network (i.e. friends, family or care professionals) re-evaluate how dementia is perceived and addressed.
