Makerspace Garage is organizing the first Maker Faire in Mostar - and we want it to be international, inclusive, and full of amazing creators. We’re looking for curious, proactive volunteers to help us find and contact makers, FabLabs, artists, and STEAM innovators around the world who might join us in Mostar or share their projects virtually. Responsibilities: Research and identify potential speakers, makers, or projects Draft friendly outreach emails or Instagram messages Support creation of a database of international partners Join online calls with the team to brainstorm partnerships Help write short bios or descriptions for our program You’d be great if you: Enjoy researching and connecting people Write clearly and warmly Have interest in technology, art, innovation, or culture Can commit 2-4 hours/week

We’re organizing the city’s first-ever celebration of maker culture and we need your help to tell the world. We’re looking for creative content creators, meme-lovers, storytellers, and digital natives who can help us share our journey, spotlight awesome makers, and generate buzz across Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn. Responsibilities: Create and schedule social media posts (graphics + captions) Highlight makers and their inventions through fun stories or reels Support the team with countdowns, updates, and event content Engage with our followers and help grow the community Ideal for those who: Love writing and digital content Use Canva or similar design tools Have experience with Instagram, Facebook, and short-form video Can commit 3-4 hours/week (remote & flexible)

Join us in organizing Mostar’s first-ever Maker Faire - a celebration of creativity, tech, and DIY innovation! Makerspace Garage is launching this milestone event in October 2025, and we’re looking for proactive, detail-oriented coordinators to help us make it a success. As a Maker Faire Coordinator, you’ll work closely with our Project Manager and team to ensure the smooth planning and delivery of the event’s program, from scheduling to maker onboarding, and from logistics tracking to community engagement. What you’ll do: Assist in organizing the event schedule, sessions, and workshops Coordinate communications with makers, exhibitors, and workshop leaders Support documentation, confirmations, and key deadlines Participate in weekly online syncs with the Project Manager and team Contribute creative ideas for program structure and flow You’d be a great fit if you: Are organized, resourceful, and love creating structure from chaos Enjoy helping people and solving problems Have strong communication and coordination skills Can commit approx. 3-5 hours/week (remotely and flexibly) Are passionate about STEAM, maker culture, or community innovation

Your work will inspire, inform, and energize thousands of attendees, followers, and innovators. You’ll work alongside our storytelling team to create sleek, fun, and bold visual content - from social media graphics and flyers to reels, intros, and maker highlights. Responsibilities: Design graphics and templates for Instagram/Facebook/LinkedIn Create visuals for workshops, schedules, calls for makers Edit short videos or reels from participants and speakers Develop simple motion graphics or logo animations (optional) We’d love to work with you if: You’re skilled in tools like Canva, Adobe, or CapCut You love blending visuals with meaning and energy You’re excited about innovation, DIY, or education You can dedicate 3-5 hours/week (flexible)
