Mission Statement

OneHope NEO is an outreach program of Mejor Via Foundation, a 501(c)3 organization that oversees several different programs. Our mission is to bring together community leaders and organizations who wish to better Cleveland’s near westside neighborhoods and facilitate productive conversations around helping reduce poverty and addressing socioeconomic disparities. OneHope NEO is run through the efforts of volunteers and generous donations that allow us to help with community activities, provide food and coats to those in need, and assists families that are new to the US with gently used furniture.

Description

OneHope NEO has been doing work in the Clark-Fulton, Stockyards, and Brooklyn Centre neighborhoods on Cleveland since 2015 hosting a monthly food distribution event , feeding 350+ families with more than $15,000 worth of perishable and non-perishable foods, a winter wear distribution to provide local CMSD students and their families with coats, hats, and gloves. W e have partnered with Catholic Charities to help provide support for immigrants and refugees arriving in the USA . In 2020 started providing strategic services such as leadership development for block clubs and local high school students and community speakers series to help provide information and resources to address pressing issues.
