WINDHAM REGIONAL ARTS COUNCIL INC

Description

The Windham Regional Arts Council was founded in 1983 by a group of citizens who recognized the need for a strong arts organization in Windham and surrounding towns. Since then, WRAC has been recognized as an organization that brings opportunities for shows for local artists, musicians and other performing arts. The Young Artists Music Competition has continuously run on an annual basis since 1986. WRAC sponsors field trips for local school students to visit museums, civic locations and live performances. We receive financial and advocacy support from the Connecticut Office of the Arts, Connecticut Humanities, and Connecticut Arts Advocacy.
