Description

Just.Play is a dynamic Sports for Development Non-Profit organization rooted in Ernakulam, Kerala. With a humble beginning in 2020 during the global pandemic, Just.Play quickly embarked on a mission to harness the power of play as a vehicle for change. Our core goal is to empower children and adolescents aged 7 to 18 by unlocking their innate potential through sports-based programs.

We have pioneered impactful initiatives like "Project Classroom," fostering peer interaction through virtual games, and "Project Disc-In," which leverages sports like Ultimate Frisbee to catalyze mixed-gender interactions and life skills development in Cochin. Presently, we engage with over 120 children across three centers in Cochin and Bangalore.

Just.Play's achievements are a testament to our commitment. We've engaged over 400 adolescents in mixed-gender sports, created Kerala's first mixed-gender Ultimate Frisbee team, trained 10+ youth coaches, and empowered 400+ young individuals. Through our efforts, we've seen a 28% increase in cumulative life skills scores, and 15 children from our program participated in state team selection trials, with 8 girls and 3 boys making it into the state team, winning accolades at the Bharat Trophy 2023. Our journey is marked by a relentless dedication to nurturing the potential of youth and breaking barriers to create a more inclusive society.
