SEEKING TO PUT GOD’S LOVE INTO ACTION, HABITAT FOR HUMANITY BRINGS PEOPLE TOGETHER TO BUILD HOMES, COMMUNITIES, AND HOPE.

Description

* Habitat for Humanity is a nonprofit, housing ministry serving families whose income is between 35% and 70% of the area median income. Habitat houses are sold to partner families with zero interest mortgages, making homeownership affordable.

* Affordable homeownership is important for many reasons. It stabilizes families, improves children’s health and academic performance, and frees up income for other needs, giving families a hand up the economic ladder.

* There are more than 1,500 Habitat affiliates in the United States and 550 international affiliates.

* Florida is the largest producing state, serving 25,000 families in 2021. We attribute this to our strong brand in FL, the climate that allows for year-round construction, and housing funds made available - thanks to the State’s awareness of our need for affordable housing.
