We seek to serve our needy neighbors in Alachua County and connect the local Church to those neighbors through volunteer opportunities.

1. Home Delivery

CCC delivers furniture and home goods without charge to those in crisis. We receive a request from a member of the community, verify financial need, and then deliver the donated furniture and/or goods to their home. Typically these are beds, furniture, appliances, kitchen supplies, and linens.

Often this service is requested either by someone who's lost their job recently due to illness, or who has had to move suddenly due to domestic violence or another personal crisis. These people often have very few possessions and lack the resources to purchase them on their own. Our desire is to provide support in the midst of personal upheaval, provide a listening ear, and turn empty spaces into homes.

2. Home Projects

CCC constructs wheelchair ramps and other accessibility features without charge for those with medical and financial need. We also clean homes, do yardwork, and perform simple home repairs.

This service is primarily intended for those whose mobility is limited by medical problems. Once we receive a service request, we assess needs with a home visit, organize a volunteer group, and then complete the project.

3. Referrals and Information

Our social services administrator serves as a community resource, keeping in touch with neighbors and connecting them to other organizations if they need services we don't offer.
