Mission Statement

350 New Hampshire's mission is to stop the climate crisis by building public support for a just transition to renewable energy and an end to fossil fuel use and expansion. We envision a society with a renewable energy economy that works for all people, where all communities live free of environmental injustice and climate catastrophe.

Description

350NH is a multigenerational movement working to advance a just transition to a renewable energy economy and end our society’s dependence on fossil fuels. We are building the movement for climate justice and working for local and national systemic change. 350NH runs statewide and regional campaigns to stop fossil fuel expansion, shut down old fossil fuel infrastructure, and implement policies for a just transition to 100% renewable energy. Our volunteer chapters and teams propel our campaigns forward.

WE ARE WORKING ON:
* No Coal No Gas: pushing for a shut down date for the last coal plant in the region in Bow, NH
* Lower Utility Bills: expanding renewable energy and regulating utilities to bring costs down
* Climate Justice: educating our communities about climate justice issues in our state
* Community Power: working to pass community power in towns across the state and push for more renewable energy options
* No New Fossil Fuels: pushing to stop new fossil fuel construction so we can transition to renewable energy

We won Offshore wind for NH and stopped the Granite Bridge fracked gas pipeline expansion. For more about our work, check out our website!
