Mission Statement

Fuse Ensemble Arts Collective (FEAC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Richmond, Virginia whose mission is to advance the awareness of, and opportunities for, composers and artists in underrepresented groups. By supporting the modern-classical chamber group Fuse Ensemble's performances and community events, FEAC aims to expose audiences to a wide range of artistic perspectives and insights while encouraging the growth of a more just and inclusive new music community.

Description

Fuse Ensemble Arts Collective (FEAC) works to accomplish its mission through commissioning, collaboration, and public performances of the musicians and artists with whom they work. FEAC looks to advance opportunities for underrepresented artists through their support of Fuse Ensemble, an electroacoustic chamber ensemble founded in 2008 by Gina Biver. FEAC secures funding for ensemble operations, rehearsals, planning and performance expenses, and commissions works from a diverse selection of composers and artists such as poets, painters, film makers and visual and media artists who collaborate with the ensemble.
