Mission Statement
Crossroads Hospice’s volunteering program is always looking for committed and caring members of our community who want to volunteer for hospice help. If you have an interest in spending time with patients, have special talents you would like to share, or want to lend a hand in our office, you should consider joining us as an Ultimate Giver. All duties of hospice volunteers benefit patients and families, directly or indirectly, through: -Patient Care -Office Support -Bereavement Support -Special Projects: Gift of a Day. This Crossroads Hospice volunteer opportunity is based on the question: "If you had one perfect day, what would it look like?" Gift of Blessings & Gratitude. We help patients document their blessings and gratitude by passing on their life experiences and advice. -Vet to Vet
Description
Ever since we opened our doors in 1995, the programs at Crossroads Hospice & Palliative Care have had one philosophy-expect more. Since then, we’ve been reinventing hospice by finding ways to spend more time with patients and families; and developing ideas to help them get the most at the end of life. That’s why Crossroads’ patient-to-staff ratio is among the best in hospice. We provide more daily visits to our patients than anyone in hospice care and will be by your side when you need us most. Plus, Crossroads Hospice & Palliative Care offers unique programs you won’t find anywhere else:
- Gift of a Day
- Evenmore Care Programs
- Veterans Recognition
- Life Journals
- Culturally Sensitive Care
- Grief Recovery
- Memorials
