About the Role: We are looking for detail-oriented and tech-savvy volunteers to serve as Price Researchers. As a Price Researcher, you will help determine fair and competitive pricing for donated items based on online market value and our store’s resale guidelines. Your work will ensure that our store remains affordable while maximizing the value of donations to support our mission and community. Key Responsibilities: Research the value of donated items, including art, clothing, toys, furniture, and other goods, using online marketplaces and pricing guides. Set fair and competitive prices based on research and store pricing guidelines. Identify valuable or unique items that may require special pricing or handling. Maintain records of pricing trends and assist in developing pricing strategies. Work closely with store staff and other volunteers to ensure accurate and efficient pricing.

In this role, you will play a crucial part in our mission by picking up and delivering donations from businesses, community partners, and individuals to our facility or designated locations. Key Responsibilities: Pick up donations from designated locations. Safely transport donations to our facility or other specified drop-off points. Ensure proper handling of goods. In this role, you will help ensure that donated items meet quality standards before being sold in our store. After donations have been sorted, you will further inspect, test, and prepare them for resale-helping maximize their value and impact. Your work directly supports our mission by funding and supporting programs that empower young adults with special needs. Key Responsibilities: Test electronics and small appliances to ensure they are functional. Verify board games, puzzles, and toys have all necessary pieces. Wash, steam, or iron clothing to ensure it is presentable for resale. Further categorize donations based on quality, brand, and condition. Maintain a clean and organized processing area. Follow donation processing guidelines to ensure efficiency and quality.

You will help assess, categorize, and prepare donations for pricing and sale, ensuring a smooth process that supports our mission and programs. Key Responsibilities: Receive and inspect donated items for quality and usability. Dispose of items that are unfit for resale according to our guidelines. Sort and categorize acceptable donations (e.g., clothing, homeware, etc). Prepare sorted items for processing before pricing and display. Maintain a clean and organized sorting area. Communicate with staff and fellow volunteers to ensure operations.
