Our fellows will mainly be in charge of running Voter Education Week's at their high schools. High School Voter Education Weeks aims to increase youth voter participation and foster civic engagement among young people across the nation while also educating students on how to register to vote. This week-long event will bring together schools, educators, students, and community leaders to empower high school students with the knowledge and skills necessary to become active and informed voters. Our team will provide educational resources that is tailored to the voting guidelines of each state for fellows to distribute across campuses. Fellows will also be in charge of organizing events/activities throughout the week that will cover various aspects of the electoral process, including voter registration, understanding ballot measures, researching candidates, and the significance of local and national elections. Our goal is to empower students to express their voice through their vote. Ultimately, we hope this campaign will increase youth voter turnout in elections. We hope to create a lasting impact on youth voter participation, cultivating a generation of informed, engaged, and active citizens who will shape the future of democracy.
