Role Overview As our PR Specialist, you will develop and implement PR strategies to enhance Creshendo’s visibility, engage stakeholders, and amplify our mission. This is a volunteer role with the flexibility to shape impactful communications that support a global cause. Key Responsibilities Strategy Development: Design and execute PR campaigns to increase awareness of Creshendo’s mission and programs. Media Relations: Establish and nurture relationships with journalists, influencers, and media outlets to secure positive coverage. Content Creation: Write and edit press releases, media pitches, and other PR materials to highlight Creshendo’s work and impact. Social Media Support: Collaborate with the social media team to align PR efforts with digital outreach and enhance our online presence. Crisis Communication: Provide guidance and develop responses as needed for timely and effective crisis communication. Qualifications Ideal candidates: Proven experience in public relations or communications, ideally within the nonprofit or social impact sector. Strong writing, editing, and verbal communication skills. Media contacts and experience in pitching stories are a plus. Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and social media tools.
