The mission of MSH is to "enrich the lives of adults with neurodevelopmental/autism spectrum disorders by helping them realize their individual potential for self-reliant living, meaningful productive work, successful socialization and experiences in on-going physical and emotional growth."
Mary Sunshine House (MSH) was founded in 2017 and is a non-profit public charity organization as defined by Internal Revenue Code (IRC) Section 501 (c)(3).
MSH is committed to facilitating the growth and achievement of residents through continuous education and therapeutic support in the lives of adults challenged with neuro-developmental disabilities - including autism spectrum disorders. The residents have diagnoses such as High Functioning Autism, Asperger’s Disorder, Nonverbal Learning Disorder, Attention Deficit Disorders, and Pervasive Developmental Disorder -Not Otherwise Specified (PDD-NOS). Most often these challenges render a resident unable to live independently and result in full reliance on their immediate family members or others for their entire life.
