• Mycelia Foundation was formed in 2023 in response to the growing digital divide. We believe that everyone deserves access to the digital tools they need to succeed, regardless of their income or location.
• Our mission is to increase digital equity by providing affordable broadband access, digital literacy education, and community outreach to underserved communities in New Mexico.
• We are actively connecting communities in New Mexico by harnessing innovative router technology that allows neighbors to act as nodes on a digital network, sharing connectivity. This technology allows us to provide affordable broadband access to communities that would otherwise be unable to afford it.
• Once connected, we provide digital literacy education in such fields as blockchain and artificial intelligence. This education helps people to understand and use these new technologies to improve their lives.
