Description

Started in Austin, the Black Makers Market has grown into a hub for Black talent, innovation, and entrepreneurship, giving a platform for exchange, inspiration, and celebration. Our roots are in the grassroots, but we've grown to host many events, engage countless vendors, and welcome a diverse array of attendees. Our goal? Celebrate Black culture, boost entrepreneurship, and provide opportunities for our community to flourish. We've achieved incredible milestones since we began, including our vibrant Juneteenth Celebration and the recent Black Outside Fest at Republic Square. Each event has showcased the resilience, creativity, and spirit of our community. And now, we're looking for volunteers like you to help us continue to amplify Black voices, celebrate Black creativity, and empower Black businesses. Join us and be part of this journey!
