Ngoc Trong Tim is committed to fighting against discrimination and stopping the exploitation of individuals with disabilities, particularly in Vietnam and other developing nations. They aim to empower individuals to share their own stories, inspiring others to recognize the efforts made by those living with disabilities. Through their talk show, Ngoc Trong Tim introduces talented individuals with disabilities to the wider community, providing an opportunity for them to showcase their talents and encouraging others to give them the recognition they deserve.
Since its inception in 2009, Ngoc Trong Tim has been successfully sponsoring numerous musicians with disabilities from Vietnam, enabling them to participate in our music shows held in the United States. As part of this sponsorship, these musicians receive work permits that allow them to receive compensation for their performances and fulfill their tax obligations. By 2023, Ngoc Trong Tim has accomplished the production of 8 music shows, which are available on DVD and YouTube. These shows have provided musicians with disabilities with new opportunities to showcase their talents and bring them closer to recognition. Our ongoing goal is to continue seeking out talented individuals with disabilities in Vietnam and around the world, providing them with more opportunities to demonstrate their abilities. Additionally, we aim to establish a Ngoc Trong Tim forum where people with disabilities can connect, learn from each other, and foster a sense of community.
