Inspire a robust bicycle network in Sandusky, OH. Create a cooperative bike shop and education center. Provide every resident the opportunity to own a bike and celebrate eco-friendly transportation. To create a region that is sustainable, positive, healthy, and connected by promoting bicycling and advocating for safe and equitable transportation for everyone. To repair, repurpose, and recycle bikes to donate to the community, thus saving bikes from the landfill and providing bikes to those in need. Description
Sandusky Bay Cycles advocates for bicycling and eco-friendly transportation. They obtain and repair bikes and donate them to individuals and local charities. They have a workshop and garage. They donate safety equipment and hold safety workshops. Their mission is to give everyone the opportunity to own a bike and keep bikes out of the landfill. Their aim is to enhance the quality of life on Lake Erie by advocating for a greener more sustainable community through cycling and recycling.
