Berkeley Free Clinic Berkeley Community Health Project{} was founded in 1969 by a group of activists in response to un-met health care and other needs, in the absence of appropriate state and federal programs and services. Our motto is "Health Care for People, Not Profit" and we look toward the ideal of health care as a right, not a privilege.
