Aseracare Hospice-Clarksville is looking for an Administrative Office Volunteer. As an Administrative Volunteer, you will get to work alongside an amazing team of clinicians that strive for excellent care of our patients. We are located right here in Clarksville, TN. The Administrative Volunteer position includes: Greeting Visitors Answering Phones Record Filing Copying and Scanning Creating packets for our Business Development Dept Ordering Lunch for staff meetings Taking notes for staff meeting Mailings (Bereavement and Sympathy Cards) Application process includes an online application, background screening, (2) verifiable reference. Become a Hospice Facility Volunteer! Join our Aseracare Hospice Volunteer Program! We are looking for individuals in Jackson, TN who can visit hospice patients in our local assisted living and nursing homes. We have several patients in the Jackson area that could use some extra love and support. Each volunteer is assigned one or two patients to visit at least (2) times per month. As a Facility Volunteer the following requirements are needed: Valid Driver's License/ State Issued ID Background Screen Completed Online Application 2-Step TB Skin Tests Orientation and Training (2) Verifiable References An initial interview will be conducted by your Regional Volunteer Coordinator, Tamara Fuller. Become a Hospice Volunteer Tuck-In Caller: Bring Comfort to Those in Need At Aseracare Hospice, we are committed to providing compassionate care to individuals at the end of their life journey. We are looking for Volunteer Tuck-In Callers to make a meaningful difference by offering comfort and companionship to our patients during their final stages of life. Position Overview: As a Hospice Volunteer Tuck-In Caller, you will reach out to patients and their families at the end of each day, offering a caring voice, checking on their well-being, and ensuring they feel supported and reassured. Your calls will help create a sense of peace and connection, allowing patients and families to rest easier knowing they are not alone. Key Responsibilities: Make weekly phone calls to hospice patients and families to check if they need additional supplies and medications. Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients and families. Document the outcome of each call and report any urgent concerns to the care team. Offer a friendly, compassionate, and listening ear during a difficult time. Qualifications: A compassionate, empathetic, and patient demeanor. Strong communication skills with an ability to offer comfort through a phone call. Ability to handle sensitive conversations with care and respect. No prior healthcare experience required-just a heart for helping others. A willingness to undergo a background check and training provided by the hospice team. Why Volunteer with Us?
