At Community Helping Hands, Inc., we know that sometimes all it takes to change a life is a little bit of support. We are a grassroots non-profit that is helping to support our underserved and under-resourced neighbors. Our mission is to offer assistance in many areas, including but not limited to: educational advancement
social/human services
medical assistance
financial assistance
food insecurities
program development
connecting people with resources ​
Our philosophy is "next step" development. What does a person need to make it to their next step of success. Whether it's help to purchase books to finish their college degree. It could be assistance with a rental deposit to secure stable housing for someone coming out of a shelter. We've helped with financial assistance and resource connections to enable necessary medical procedures. Our financial assistance is typically a 1 time emergent need to help them get to their next step. All financial assistance is made payable directly to the vendor/school/landlord, etc - no payments are made payable to individuals.
