FRIENDS OF THE LOS ANGELES RIVER

Description

For over 30 years, FoLAR has worked to restore community connection and natural ecology on the LA River. As one of the largest unifying forces on the River, FoLAR has educated, empowered, and mobilized over 50,000 Angelenos to repair habitat and advocate for the policies that will give life to our collective vision of a healthy, thriving, and equitably accessible Los Angeles River. We do this through K-12 environmental education, free volunteer opportunities and community events, and policy and advocacy on the LA River.
