Team TLC NYC is an all-volunteer group proudly committed to providing basic needs and support to asylum seekers and migrants. We aim to make the lives of those seeking a better place to live safer and brighter.
Description
Team TLC is an all volunteer organization that has been greeting asylum seekers arriving in NYC into the Port Authority bus terminal after long and often grueling journeys since August of 2022. We have been providing a welcoming atmosphere, offering basic needs, which include food, clothing, toiletries along with toys for the children. We are now located in midtown Manhattan where we have opened a location where asylum seekers can come and shop for free for clothing and basic essentials. We need volunteers for this location.
