Mission Statement

Shuddhi Trust is a volunteer-run non-profit organization based in Chennai, India. We are committed to doing what is necessary with transparency, efficiency and inclusivity. Founded on 30th March 2017, we are a registered Public Charitable Trust in India as of 4th February 2021. We received 12A certification on 27th May 2021 and 80G certification on 2nd October 2021. All donations made to us are eligible for tax-exemption under section 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961.

Description

We are a very young but ambitious non-profit committed to doing whatever is necessary. And at the moment our primary focus is on reforming the educational culture in India, which when we are successful, we will scale up globally. Currently we operate a non-profit edTech platform called Shuddhi Vidhya (https://www.vidhya.io) where we allow students of rural and underprivileged backgrounds to remotely access high quality education for free.

At the moment we are seeking volunteers who can help us in expanding our network of partner schools, the volume of content on our course catalog among other things.
