Mission Statement

We promote access to healthcare for pet owners in the Tulsa Metro area impacted by homelessness, mental illness, or addiction who need inpatient treatment but have no one to care for their pets.

Description

Pause4Paws, Inc. is a Tulsa non-profit that arranges foster homes for pets while their owners experiencing homelessness, mental illness or addiction receive urgent medical, mental health, or substance abuse treatment. That care often is a matter of life or death.

Pause4Paws requires a detailed application to be filled out by all foster families and pet owners. Pause4Paws promise to individuals who trust their beloved pets with us is to keep those pets safe for a reunion with their owners.

Pause4Paws foster services are limited to pet owners who have been referred by an agency or organization that helps individuals experiencing homelessness, mental illness or addiction. The mission of Pause4Paws is to help these pet owners receive necessary emergency services without their pet being a barrier to available care.

There such a mess that animals leave behind within the community feces, trash, & also disturbance And I feel it's up too the citizens to make the are stay clean which also keeps both parties comfortable
