to advance education in the United Kingdom by promoting, sustaining and increasing individual and collective knowledge and understanding of all aspects of the criminal justice system. to provide support, assistance and information directly and indirectly to people affected by or working within the criminal justice system. to further and build awareness in the criminal justice system through education and research to promote and influence effective care, involvement and support for people affected by the criminal justice system to represent and safeguard the common interests of its members to bring together all persons involved or interested in the criminal justice system by arranging meetings, seminars and groups to promote effective practice within the criminal justice system by developing the subject matter and disseminating those developments
