Mission Statement

In Partnership with the Greater Chicago Food Depository, the New Seed Food Pantry distributes food and other necessities to families throughout the city of Chicago. It is open from 9 am to 11 am every Saturday morning at our building. We welcome volunteers to help unload, organize, and distribute items to our neighbors. Description

We are located in Uptown and are one of the ministries of the Lakeview Church of Christ. We serve approximately 103 households, reaching roughly 183 people. We provide fresh produce, meat or poultry and other necessary food and personal items to our clients weekly on Saturday mornings from 9-11 am. We also have food delivered by the Greater Chicago Food Depository on the first and third Wednesday mornings of each month.
