Mission Statement

Our mission is to journey with families living with Alzheimer's and other related dementias. We provide a 4 hour day program incorporating exercise, music, art, cognitive challenges along wit a brain healthy meal. This program provides respite to caregivers and an improved quality of life for the person living with the diagnosis. We also, provide caregiver support groups and connect families to valuable resources so they do not feel alone in this journey. The values of our organization are servant leadership, compassionate care, spiritual support and collaboration of services. We provide 'Moments of Hope" to families and embrace the motto that, "life isn't over when you have dementia, life is just different"!

Description

Magnolia Memory Care, Inc was started in 2019 with the goal of providing dementia specific care to people living in our community. Minds Matter day program is a satellite based model that partners with churches to offer small group of programs in multiple locations. Our volunteers are a huge part of our 2 year success. Dementia affects communities on all levels. Part of what we do is educate the community about Brain Healthy and resources about prevention. We are looking for volunteers in the area of Board Development, program services, technology, and supporting our educational events in terms of supporting caregivers who are advocates for their loved ones.
