Mission Statement

Ledbetter Eagle Ford Community Organization exists to sustain and enhance the historic Ledbetter community in the face of sweeping gentrification and a quickly changing city. Our organization works to empower the neighborhood through awareness events, leadership development initiatives, and community-based programs.

Description

Our organization has a partnership with a local recreation center to provide support and resources for city programs. We are especially involved with the center's Senior Program and Teen Night. We provide special programs and events from holiday celebrations to educational seminars for about 50 seniors every week. We provide them with two full meals daily Mondays - Thursdays. In addition, we organize fun and educational community events for the Ledbetter community.
