Mission Statement

Projects that make a difference. Victoria Relief Foundation exists to restore, kindle hope, provide relief, and build resilience for the most vulnerable victims of violent conflict in Sub-Saharan Africa, with a focus on the conflict in Southern Cameroon.

Description

WHY VRF

Many NGOs prioritize procurement and distribution of relief materials to address immediate needs of refugees and IDPs, but with the conflict ongoing and more people displaced, this approach is unsustainable. VRF aims to provide sustainable solutions that ensure self-sufficiency and financial independence of beneficiaries. VRF will focus on assisting the most vulnerable populations affected by the conflict, and repurpose its approach. This will involve extensive data gathering, design and implementation of impactful programs, and a comprehensive monitoring and evaluation mechanism to ensure effectiveness. VRF advocacy will ensure vulnerable populations have a voice and impact policy makers at the host and international community levels.
