Our mission is to provide opportunities for young girls to participate in community activities that will broaden their horizons while having fun.

Description

Winter's Place is hosting It's First Shoe Drive called 7 City Shoe Drive. It has been very Successful. We have been featured on Wavy News 10; a National News station called Mornin in America (Intervlewed by Emmy Award Winner Adrienne Bankert- American Hero Segment) and on News Channel 3 (Interviewed by Barbra Clara) for 4 consecutive weeks. Winter's Place Founder, 9 year old Winter Davis (Awarded an Everyday Hero Award by Barbra Clara) wanted to help her classmates who are less fortunate enjoy outings in the Community. We have expanded from the original 7 Cities here in our area to volunteers helping us from California, New York, North Carolina, and the DMV area.Everyone Involved is working for the same cause which is helping others
