From our beginning, we’ve been driven to establish an organization that balances rescuing and caring for animals with educating the humans on whom these animals rely for a peaceful, safe and healthy life. The decisions we make daily, and the programs we offer, reflect this philosophy

Description

Animal Welfare Friends is a non-profit animal shelter and dog park that is funded 100% by donations. We offer a safe place for stray dogs and cats to be brought and work to find the owners. Our animals are vetted and available for adoption. The dog park, the only one in Jones County, is open year round and is free to the public.
