Mission Statement

Our mission is simple. To provide peace of mind and temporary placement for pets of people facing illness. We work to champion the Human-Animal Bond. We aim to provide peace of mind to hospital & medical need patients by placing their pets with temporary qualified Caregivers until their owners can be reunited with the companion animals they love.

Description

We keep pets out of overcrowded animal shelters and reduce the burden on the overtaxed animal welfare system contending iwht pace and staff shortages. We give our caregivers the education and information they will need to be successful. There is NO cost to the Caregiver Volunteers, just your heart and your home. We provide anything the animals may need while in your care including vet care, food, medications to name just a few. You get orientation and a review of our Caregivers manual loaded with everything you need to succeed. We are with you the entire time and are available via email and phone.

We ran a pilot program with the Breast Cancer Resource Center in 2021-2022 and discovered the huge need of this program. Unlike fostering, you never have to look for a new owner or pay for anything, you just give love and support to this sweet animal of someone in need.
