Vision Building a world where Indigenous women look to the future with full of hope. Mission To guide, accompany and guide Indigenous women in their struggle for the well-being and social self-determination of women. Focus areas: • Health, • Education, • Climate change, • Gender equality and security Overall objective Contribute to achieving effective gender equality and empowering Indigenous women and girls. Objectives: • Promote the maternal, child, sexual, reproductive, mental and nutritional health of indigenous women living in our areas of intervention. • Promote the rights and human dignity of indigenous women through female leadership, the fight against gender-based violence, sexual and reproductive rights. • Boost the economic empowerment of indigenous women through female entrepreneurship and the protection of biodiversity in their living environments.

Description

Indigenous Women for Health and Equality (IWHE-NGO) is an independent, non-profit, apolitical, non-denominational, ethnic, racial or tribal organization established in 2020, by a group of Indigenous women and girls to address the lack of their empowerment and the gender inequalities they experience within local and national communities.
Our organization specializes in the field of health, human rights, equality, empowerment of indigenous women and protection of biodiversity and the environment.
