Join Our Board of Directors | Bring Hope for Sudanese Children!

Flexible Schedule | Virtual Opportunity

If you are Sudanese, have ties with Sudan, or care to support Sudanese people, we invite you to join our Board of Directors or be part of the UNIFIED Team. We are reforming our board to help initiate a new initiative that promotes Sudanese refugee children, helping them thrive and dream again. Qualifications Needed for the Role: A commitment to our mission and values. Interest in helping Sudanese refugee children and addressing issues such as homelessness and conflict. Experience in nonprofit governance, fundraising, or community engagement is a plus. Strong communication and leadership skills. Ability to dedicate time and resources to attend board meetings and participate in organizational activities. Skills in networking, community outreach, finance, managing budgets, fundraising, marketing, social media marketing, and construction. Role and Responsibilities: Strategic Planning: Collaborate with fellow board members to develop and implement strategic plans that align with our mission and goals. Governance: Ensure the organization adheres to its mission, values, and legal responsibilities. Fundraising and Advocacy: Actively participate in fundraising efforts and advocate for our initiatives within your networks. Financial Oversight: Review and approve budgets and financial statements and ensure the organization's economic health. Community Engagement: Foster relationships with community members, stakeholders, and partners to enhance our reach and effectiveness. Program Support: Provide guidance and support for our programs, ensuring they meet the needs of Sudanese refugee children. Why Join Us?
