We are seeking a Fundraising & Grant Proposal Researcher (Volunteer) to assist us with growing our funding through grants from private foundations and Government entities by researching grant proposal opportunities and drafting compelling proposals. We believe the right candidate for this position will be someone who has a passion for serving those in need and either has a desire to gain valuable work experience as a fundraiser for non-profits or wishes to volunteer their time and experience to meet the needs outlined below. We estimate that 5-10 hours per week will be required for this position. Job Duties: Research prospective foundations and government grant opportunities. Create a strong fundraising message that appeals to potential donors. Identify requirements for submitting complete and effective grant proposals to foundations and government entities. Draft for review by leadership all grant proposals according to requirements from each foundation or government entity. Submit approved grant proposals to foundations or government agencies. Track and report to leadership on grant proposal submissions with expected deadlines. Evaluate the success of previous grant proposals and recommend steps to improve. Respond to emails in a timely manner. Perform other appropriate tasks or duties as requested.

With this being said, we are in need of more help! We are looking for new Board Members to help support our mission of supporting those with Perinatal and Postpartum mood disorders. Expecting moms, new moms, and non-birthing parents alike, can go through emotional changes during parenthood. Without a community-based approach to receiving support these matters can spiral in trauma that can last a lifetime. Board members are responsible for advising the President and collaborating with the Board on important decisions, day-to-day operations, and ensuring Favored’s goals and visions are met. Candidates will have a track record of being able to translate strategies and projects into step-by-step actions. Members will implement their talent, expertise, and dedication in making decisions and directing the organization toward achieving its mission. Content includes posts, videos/reels, and stories. Support the execution of social promotions and campaigns, such as giveaways and or discounts; and track their success. Support the research of and communication with influencer and brand partners to coordinate campaigns that increase brand awareness and drive measurable results. Monitor and engage in relevant social discussions keeping up with industry trends and news. Support public relations efforts to ensure the execution of cohesive messaging throughout our omnichannel marketing campaigns.
