PURPOSE ON PURPOSE FOUNDATION POP INC

Description

Since 2020, Purpose on Purpose has focused solely on domestic violence advocacy and fostering meaningful relationships. While many have appreciated the passion and vision behind POP, interest continued to wane once potential supporters realized housing for the victims wasn't a reality. In January, we decided to pivot and focus on obtaining housing for our transitional housing program. The housing allows for life-changing next steps of safety and healing, ultimately leading to self-sufficiency and sustainability. Our experiences and relationships with survivors over the past two years have provided valuable insight, leading us to add another aspect to our housing program.

In the meantime, while we work on acquiring housing, we've incorporated hotel vouchers for victims of domestic violence into our vision. This temporary fix allows us to help on the immediate front lines of support while we continue to work on acquiring housing in the long run. We have a lot of work to do, and generous donations and volunteers will help get this critical work done.

Our founder and President, Chavali McIntosh, a retired Marine Veteran of 20 years, has a plethora of experience well suited for the mission and vision of our nonprofit.
